I enjoy working with adults and older adolescents. My approach combines warmth, compassion and (where appropriate) humour, to create a welcoming and nurturing environment.
I have worked people experiencing a variety of presentations, including: anxiety and depression; relationship and family difficulties; work related challenges and stress; grief; and adjustment difficulties.
My particular interests lie in sleep difficulties such as insomnia; social and interpersonal anxiety; stress and burnout; and health related difficulties, including managing anxieties around, and recovering from, serious illness.
My treatment approaches include schema therapy, CBT, ACT, CFT, and MCBT. Basically, that means that my approach is dynamic and tailored to what you need during the course of your treatment.
My priority is to create understanding and a safe space for my clients to fully explore their challenges, and work together to identify effective strategies to reach clients’ goals.
