I enjoy working with, adolescents (12+), and adults, with a range of presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and interpersonal issues. I have training in a range of therapeutic approaches including Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, CBT-e for eating disorders, Schema Therapy, and EMDR.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is central to change, and I endeavour to hold a warm, collaborative space for clients to explore their issues and meet their goals. I am particularly interested in the areas of gender and sexual diversity, and especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ adolescents and young adults. I am able to provide readiness assessments (WPATH letters) for gender affirming medical treatment. I also enjoy working with neurodivergent (i.e. autism, ADHD) adults and adolescents, and draw on neurodiversity-affirming models of therapy.
Please note that Georgia is not currently taking new clients.
